Controlled SEO Experiment
It is no secret that more than half of the marketers out there outsource their online content generation. Online marketing quickly jumped into the tops spots for income generation and customer conversion some time ago, but many companies still have substandard or outdated online marketing strategies.
Most of the problem revolves around the written content, while has likely seen little update. This is probably because their in-house writer is overwhelmed. Maybe it is time to consider outsourcing some of that online content.
Larger companies (around 1,000 employees or more) are more likely to outsource, naturally. Is there any real benefit for a smaller company to outsource their online content?
A smaller company reasons that there are fewer resources to work with, so they try to do the best they can with what they have to make a buck. This would make sense under normal circumstances, but the internet is a game changer in a lot of ways.
The internet can take a small company and with the right content, explode them into expansion faster than they can keep up with. This usually involves outsourcing at least part of their online content.
It is natural for the small business owner to want to as much of the work as they can. That industrious spirit is likely what caused them to want to start their own company in the first place. However, a good business manager knows where their imitations are.
• You don’t have time to do everything. You want to be able to have a little time to yourself and your family right? You can focus on driving revenue instead of typing when you outsource your online content.
• You may not be the best communicator. It is common amongst brilliant individuals to know amazing things and have great new ideas, but be relatively inept at telling them to others. Good copywriters can translate genius into English.
• Content Marketing Firms are focused. Their full-time job is to tell successful marketing stories, getting companies traffic and customers to pound down your door.
These are just a few reasons from a long laundry list that could go on and on. The best reason to outsource could quite possibly be that you want to sound like an expert and an industry leader, and with a good copywriter that is knowledgeable in the field that you are building your business in, that is exactly what can happen.
The investment will be well worth the short term hit to your bottom line. Outsourcing may seem to cost more than insourcing or repurposing a current employee, initially. The truth is that, when a manger takes into account all of the resources used by an in-house employee versus the cost of outsourcing, there really isn’t that much difference. You may find that you are going to be saving a few bucks.
