Content marketing has its ups and downs, and one of the major snags we run into when we’re doing any kind of content marketing is that brick wall that sucks away inspiration and stops marketers dead in their tracks.

It’s a harsh reality but one we face on a regular basis. You spend all that time selecting a certain niche, getting sites put up, the blog, the content marketing strategy, the topics, the theme, the keywords… and then you start trying to put content together and you fall flat on your face.

I remember so many occasions where I needed to produce a brief report, or get a blog post written. The concept was in my mind and I had the swirling embraces of a beautiful outline that absolutely refused to form into a cohesive thought that I could utilize. I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve stared at a blinking cursor on a blank page.

There is a common misconception that in order to develop a successful online business you need to be targeting hundreds or thousands of keywords.

This perception often causes a great deal of confusion and can lead to ‘Analysis Paralysis’ as people spend months analyzing keywords looking for the perfect opportunity. As a result they never follow through to create a complete and profitable business.

Last week, a group of us were discussing this problem and came to the conclusion that the reason this misconception is still so prevalent is that in the past, focusing on quantity versus quality DID actually work.

In the early days of Internet marketing, if you placed a large number of related keywords on a page or included them in Meta and Alt tags you could often get rankings that led to traffic.

Similarly, in the early days of Google Adwords, it was possible to load your account with thousands of keywords and generate a steady stream of traffic to your site.

However, while this may have been the case in 2003, it is very important to realize that THINGS HAVE CHANGED.

If you put your ear to the ground you can hear something. It’s the dull crackle of fire dying away. The heat rolls back as frost seems to slowly take hold. The noise dies down, the fear slips away.

I think hell is starting to freeze over.

As I look at companies engaging followers in social media there is a sincere outreach and the companies are actually listening to people. I never thought I’d see the day and swore it would be one of those “When pigs fly” “When hell freezes over” kind of scenarios before the majority of businesses realized that listening within social media needed to take place before engagement could occur.

As most of you may or may not know I am currently in training with Alex Jeffreys an up and coming online marketing Guru! He only accepted 500 of us then shut the doors. We all paid $997 and since it started like a month ago we have had 1 webinar per week and one week was one everyday just on how to drive traffic.

Tonight was all about Joint Ventures (Two people joining together to help promote each others stuff or just having one do it for you as they get commissions for doing so) and tonight my eyes were opened in a way that could never imagined. It all made sense to me tonight of what we all should be doing if we want to become successful online marketers.

Essentially you need to create your own product! Yes a lot goes into that process and I will not elaborate on this tonight. But once you get your product completely built backend and all then it is time to start going into blogs and forums in your niche and grabing as many contact phone#, email addresses, website name, contact name then you add theses all to a spread sheet like on excel.

Then you create a nice email explaining that you would like for them to join your money making adventures for this year and would be happy for them to promote your product as a Joint Venture.

Try to gather as many names as you can find and on the excell sheet leave a section for if they reply Yes or No to this email. If they say Yes then contact them personally.

This is a good way to build your list because you have the ultimate leverage of others promoting it for you, Some people might have a much read blog with your banner on it now or they might have an email list  of 10,000 to send it to. Offer them 50% commissions or more. It does not matter, your main goal is to build that Powerful List of emails that you can build relationships with and sell to forever if you don’t burn the list out and do it correctly!

Hello WWW my name is Matt Fusinato you can Google my name and see thousands of things I have created online, most of it has to do with Online Marketing and Business Internet Professional Marketing Software / SEO. Just recently I started seeing some real results and so I decided to share my online success story with the world wide web.

I uses to be deep into Network Marketing when I started out with a Travel company called YTB Your Travel Biz. It was cool but I was not making the money I was told I could make and I guess I can only blame myself for that in a way?

My search for more information for an easier way to make money without having to be a walking commercial to friends and family turned me on 1st to Ann Sieg Author of The Renegade Network Marketer she heard my story and even interviewed me and added my interview on one of her projects! Then from there I was trained live by Mike Klingler in Renegade Professional I learned a lot from his live webinars that really taught me the ins and outs of social media.

My shift from network marketing to training and SEO came very shortly. I mastered a lot of advanced SEO techniques it is even hard for me to type here since I am not thinking of when and where to put the keyword since there is none in this it is all freestyle! I am by nature a Poet and the thought of making money with my words alone online really caught my attention.

Recently I decided to go back to Business Internet Professional Marketing Software training and I was turned on to this guy Alex Jefferys. He was personally mentored by Mike Filsaime so I knew he had a solid grasp on how the whole game was played since he is very successful in teaching others to become a professional marketer online.

My training with Alex has taught me so much along with my other great mentors. I feel it is time for me once again to show others who are advanced or especially just getting started how to get noticed and generate more traffic online by targeting the pain and needs of the cold market (People You Don’t Know).
